Sections reference

This page only covers important notes about specific sections in Etheryx. For basic settings, refer to the theme editor.

We do not provide support for AI-generated theme blocks. Any blocks created using AI tools are used at your own discretion.

We are not responsible for their functionality, performance, or integration, and we will NOT offer any assistance or troubleshooting for issues related to them.

We recommend using only the officially provided theme sections to ensure proper functionality, ongoing support, and compatibility with future theme updates.

Breadcrumbs section

Breadcrumbs are a navigational aid that displays a trail of links, helping users understand their location within your store's hierarchy. You can add this section to different locations such as the header or footer.

• The Breadcrumbs section will appear on all pages except for the home, cart, or collection list pages.
• Breadcrumbs are static and do not track a user's navigation path.
• On product pages, the first collection (sorted alphabetically) is shown by default.

Collage section

A customizable grid layout for displaying content. The Collage section displays a grid of images and videos along with text, making it useful as a multimedia gallery or a lookbook section.

Show grid outline

• Displays visual outlines for grid areas and elements in the theme editor.

• IMPORTANT

  Not visible to end users!

Grid type

• Classic: Maintains a uniform row and column structure, keeping all grid items the same size.
• Masonry: Staggers grid items with varying heights for a more dynamic, Pinterest-style layout.

Collection list section

The Collection list section displays a list of your store's collections, making it useful for featuring selected collections. You can choose which collections to display from the available options.

• If a collection has a featured image, the featured image will be used.
• If no featured image is set, the first image of the first product in the collection will be used.
• Empty collections (with zero products) will not be shown.

Countdown timer section

The Countdown section adds a dynamic, attention-grabbing timer to your store. Use it to highlight limited-time sales, upcoming events, or to engage visitors with a sense of urgency.

• You can use either images or videos as banners and select different media for desktop or mobile devices.
• Only one media type can be displayed at a time.

Hero banner section

The Hero banner section in Etheryx is a very powerfull section packed with features that allows you to create multiple banners with different layouts.

• You can use either images or videos as banners and select different media for desktop and mobile devices.
• Only one media type can be displayed at a time.

Text

• You can add up to two text blocks to the Hero Banner.
• Adjust the text size to style it as a heading, subheading, or description.

Clickable Media

If a URL is set, the media becomes clickable, hiding buttons and disabling video controls.

Buttons

• You can add up to two buttons to the Hero Banner.

• IMPORTANT

  If a Clickable media → URL is set, buttons will not be displayed.

Hero logo section

The Hero Logo section allows you to display a logo prominently on your store’s homepage. You can choose to keep the logo fixed and overlayed as customers scroll or keep it in a static position. This feature helps reinforce brand identity and create a strong visual impact.

Image

• A .png or .webp file with clear background is recommended if using the overlay logo option.
• SVG setting is ignored if an image is already selected.
• Vertical alignment only applies to overlay mode.

General settings

Section header

Setting	Description
Show Header on Hover (Desktop)	Displays the section header when hovered over on desktop.
Heading	The title of the section.
Description	A description of the section.
URL	A link directing users to a location of your choice.
Label	The button label for the URL.

Section spacing

Setting	Description
Enable Lateral Spacing	Adds margins on the sides of the section.
Margin Top	Adjusts the top spacing outside the section.
Margin Bottom	Adjusts the bottom spacing outside the section.
Padding Top	Adjusts the top spacing inside the section content.
Padding Bottom	Adjusts the bottom spacing inside the section content.

Section appearance

Setting	Description
Color Scheme	Select a predefined color scheme to apply to the section.
Use Global Color Scheme	Overrides the selected color scheme and applies the global color scheme when enabled.
